The Majestic Mission Mountains day drive in the Flathead Valley is a 65-mile route that travels from Ravalli to Bigfork, Montana. The area is right between the Stunning Flathead Lake and the expansive Flathead National Forest.
There are remarkable, sweeping mountain vistas that showcase the massive Mission Mountains. The Mission Range's highest point, McDonald Peak, is visible for the whole duration of the road trip.
It also offers fantastic opportunities to venture off the path for some sightseeing and hiking.
The drive highlights the Flathead Indian Reservation, National Bison Range, Ninepipes National Wildlife Refuge, Pablo National Wildlife Refuge, multiple cherry orchards, vineyards, Swan Lake, and Flathead Lake State Park's Finley Point and Yellow Bay.
