Swan River Nature Trail

The Swan River Nature Trail is an enjoyable, easy, and popular path best suited for a fun casual walk in the sun with a cup of coffee in your hands. The trail is located near Big Fork, Montana. It's available for different activities year-round.

This path is often shared with joggers, mountain bikers, and sometimes even a horse or two. You can enjoy the trail with your entire family, alone while bird watching, and even in the winter with some snowshoes.

Because the trail does not offer shade, I suggest sunscreen starting early in the morning. The path takes you right above the river. There are beautiful sights on the trail. Many runoff-side trails will lead you right to the water.

The path is popular and moderately busy in the middle of the day but parking tends to be abundant. I hope you enjoy this sweet trail and all it offers!
