Superior Vista Trail is in the Lolo National Forest, near Superior, Montana. The trail is overlooking the town and is full of great views.
It's a narrow trail with steep drop-offs, so leave the kids and your clumsy friends at home. The trail climbs 800 feet in one mile and can be rocky. If you struggle with knee issues, the trip back down could be challenging.
There are signs and vista points along the way so you can learn about the history of the town while catching your breath on a bench. When you summit the trail, there is an incredible view of the Clark Fork River, the center of the town's landscape.
