Quick Summary

Story

Sheepeater Cliff Trail is in Yellowstone National Park, near Gardiner, Montana. It's a beautiful, short hike around the Sheepeater Cliffs, named after the Shoshone Indians.

You don't need to take the trail to experience the great cliffs, but if you decide to venture further, you will get a great vantage point of the cliffs and the river.

The trail itself is rocky, and there are a few fallen trees you'll have to maneuver around.

The trail features incredible volcanic rock formations, waterfalls, and a great river walk. The trail is short and sweet! We recommend bringing bear spray and not staying in the parking lot for this adventure.
