Quick Summary

Story

Scenic Point Trail is strenuous and stunning. It's located near East Glacier (jn Glacier National Park). The trail is not one for the weak-willed or weak-kneed. It is a long and hike that pays for your effort in breathtaking panoramic views.

The consistent switchbacks mean there is nothing dangerously steep on this trail, but it's a steady uphill climb the whole time.

There are fantastic views of the Two Medicine Valley. Many have started this trail but venture off to Appistoki Falls, only 0.6 miles from the Scenic Point Trail.

The wildlife population is very active in this area; people have seen Bighorn Sheep, elk, bear, and many other species while trekking up this mountain. I suggest bringing bear and bug spray just in case. I also recommend lots of water and food, good hiking boots and layers for the top (it can be windy).
