This beautiful scenic drive is a relatively well maintained gravel road, that runs parallel to the Rocky Mountain Front. This drive is especially dramatic in the late spring/early summer when the fields are full of wildflowers! The road passes through open fields for most of the drive, then crosses the Dearborn River on a single lane truss bridge (use the pullouts on either side of the bridge if you meet another vehicle), and goes through a small narrow canyon before coming back up onto the plains.
