Scenic Drive: Clearwater Junction to Bigfork

Any time of year, this is always a beautiful drive! After a fresh snowfall it becomes a winter wonderland with powder hanging on the pines, in the spring and early summer the ground is carpeted with lupine and beargrass. The road winds past several lakes, including Salmon, Seeley, and Swan, with views of the Swan and Mission mountain ranges. You pass through a couple cute small towns as well, most notably Seeley Lake. Take a couple side roads along the way for added adventure!
From Clearwater Jct follow MT-93 up to Bigfork area. There is no end destination, but the tiny town of Bigfork has great food and coffee options (although some are closed on Sundays), a nature trail, and Wayfarers State Park is also right there situated on Flathead Lake.
