Reservoir Lake - Lincoln

This adventure takes you along beautiful meandering gravel roads as you enjoy the peaceful mountain scenery. Follow Beaver Creek Rd. for about 8 miles from Lincoln, MT. into the mountains and once you start to see Reservoir Lake on your left, head left and you will find yourself at the perfect swimming spot! There are several dispersed camping spots or ample parking if you want to spend the day swimming, picnicking, or camping. We parked our 18 ft. long trailer all the way on the end and we woke up to a wonderful view of the lake every morning. The other few campspots could easily house larger trailers, however the final bend in the road is a bit of a tight corner, so if you have a large camper you may want to scout it out first. We did share our campsite with a herd of cows two mornings we were there, so watch out for cow pies! Arrasta Creek Trailhead is within walking distance or you could easily take a stroll around the lake. The area is known for berry-picking, so be prepared to share with local wildlife, including bears.
