Phipps Park Trail

Phipps Park is a park 15 minutes from downtown Billings with many trails that the locals love. The main Phipps Park Trail is rated moderate because although there is only about 410 feet of elevation gain, it's quite steep and rocky.

If you head right at the fork, you'll experience a lot of wind at the top of the rim.

The trail is not marked well so you should look at a map before hand and know your route.

Expect great views of the city. You dogs are welcome too (on lease).

There is little shade so we suggest an early morning or evening hike.
