Our Lake Hike (also known as Hidden Lake)

Our Lake, also known as Hidden Lake, is located on the Front Range near Choteau. It's a moderate to difficult hike, but relatively short - about 3.5 miles each way. The trailhead is shared with Headquarters Pass so pay attention to signage to keep on the correct trail.
The trail winds through a pretty forest, crosses scree slopes and steams, passes a waterfall, and at last arrives at the lake. It's a pretty small lake but has crystal clear water, and you have the option to hike up the saddle behind to get great views in both directions: into the backcountry mountains and also back over the lake with the plains peeking through in the distance.
Mill Falls Campground is just up the road from the trailhead. With only 4 spots it isn't a sure bet to find a campsite, but there is a small waterfall nearby which is fun.
