Quick Summary

Story

North Pilgrim Creek Trail is in the Little Belt Mountains. There's one especially wide crossing at Belt Creek. Be careful if fording the creek. The other water crossings are cold and swift.

From the trailhead, you are deposited into tall Ponderosa Pines. The trail continues and follows changing slopes below towering limestone cliffs. It is a fantastic view!

You'll drop into Belt Creek after about 2 miles. After the ford, the trail gradually climbs up the narrow canyon. You'll encounter a series of waterfalls.

Two miles later, the trail crossed Pilgrim Creek again, and you got to enjoy a stroll through the aspen forest. You'll reach the junction of trails 304 and 315 at Circle Gulch. The intersection is the turn-around spot.

North Pilgrim Creek Trail is a beautiful and challenging hike. We recommend coming prepared with bug and bear spray.
