Quick Summary

Story

Natural Bridge Falls Overlooks trail is high in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness south of Big Timber, Montana.

The Natural Bridge Falls is the area's main attraction, but the land offers excellent hiking, fishing, and camping opportunities. The site also serves as the trailhead for the Green Mountain Trail. There are also picnic shelters in the area, making it ideal for a stroll and a lunch with your family.

In 1988, that natural bridge collapsed due to limestone erosion. Today, a man-made bridge safely carries visitors from one side of the roaring river to the other.

To get to the trailhead, drive 25 miles south of Big Timber on US Highway 298.
