Jerry Johnson Hot Springs is in the Clearwater National Forest near Lolo, Montana. This short trek leads to multiple natural hot springs and a set of thermal falls.
The trail is easy to navigate and relatively flat the entire way. The area is beautiful, and there's a fun wooden bridge near the trailhead.
The trail may be muddy in sections, but it isn't hard to maneuver with the rocks and logs.
The springs don't smell bad, and they are consistently warm, making them a popular destination. It's also not uncommon to share the area with nude visitors.
The springs are right on the edge of the river, and the scenery is gorgeous and worth the short trek.
