The Hidden Meadow Trail is in Glacier National Park on the North Fork Road. The road to the trailhead is closed in the winter and opens around June each year.
This is an excellent hike if you're looking for something more manageable than some of the more popular trails in the park. It's a beautiful area!
It's a lightly trafficked trail, so you're likely to have it to yourself. The solitude is excellent but make sure to travel with bear spray and make lots of noise.
The trail is slightly steep towards the beginning, but the elevation is manageable and doesn't last long. The trail's end is somewhat overgrown, but it opens up to a beautiful meadow and the small hidden lake.
Overall, this is a leisurely stroll we recommend if you want some solitude.
