Story

Granite was established in the 1870's while the Granite mine was the richest silver mine on the earth. Today, remnant of the town can be seen all over the hilltop. This ghost town is fun to explore, but be careful - many of the floors are rotting away creating hazards for those that venture inside the buildings. Enjoy a day in Philipsburg and learning the history of the Granite silver mine - you won't regret it!
