The trail is an engaging, half-mile boardwalk loop within the Lower Geyser Basin. It is a well-maintained walk in Yellowstone National Park. The trail makes seeing the petrified wood, geysers, and colorful hot springs an absolute delight!
There is lots of sulfur in these springs and geysers, so beware of the inevitable rotten egg smell. Parking can be difficult because the area is also popular.
