Story
The drive into the Crazy Mountains is stunning. The campground is tucked away in a canyon that sees little sunlight throughout the day, so it stays cool well into summer. The trails that depart from this area are great day hikes and are popular for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The snow hangs around in these mountains much later than in others - don't count on it being melted away completely until mid-June at least.
