Center Ridge Trail

Center Ridge Trail is in the Lewis and Clark National Forest in Highwood, Montana. The trail is a ridge hike, and it features views of Mount Baldy and the other surrounding peaks.

The rea is beautiful and full of wildflowers. Unfortunately, the trail can be incredibly hot with little shade, so we recommend bringing sunscreen and layers. The steam crossings on the trail help keep you coll but prepare to take your shoes off or trek on with wet feet.

We suggest starting your loop counterclockwise to do most of the climbing on the way there.
