Bowman Lake is located in the NW corner of Glacier National Park. From Polebridge the road becomes very rough and narrow for the last 7 miles (can take up to 30 minutes), take it slow and have a spare tire just in case. Check road status before leaving on this adventure https://www.nps.gov/applications/glac/roadstatus/roadstatus.cfm
Bowman Lake is off the beaten path, but worth the effort! Killer views, great hikes, and a nice campground await you.
Bowman Lake Campground is generally open from early June to September. Check campground status here: https://www.nps.gov/applications/glac/cgstatus/cgstatus.cfm
