Beaver Creek Park is one of the many birding trails in Central Montana. The park is a mile-wide strip that follows a creek for 17 miles in the Bear Paw Mountains. The lush streamsides of the park pull in a multitude of bird species.
Species that the park commonly features are the Clark's Grebes, American White Pelicans, Long-billed Curlews, Mountain Bluebirds, Swainson's and Ferruginous Hawks, Yellow-Breasted Chats, Wilson's Warblers, Soras, Wilson's Snipes, Lazuli Buntings, Baltimore and Bullock's Orioles, Ovenbirds, American Redstarts, Rock Wrens, and Golden Eagles.
The area features rolling grassland, a lake, a brushy stream, Aspen and Cottonwood grove, and cliff habitats. It is an ideal place for a variety of birds to frequent.
