The Baltrusch Trail is on the southwest edge of Havre, Montana. It's used mainly by the city's community to stay healthy.
The trail starts east of Havre High School. The north route of the trail is paved and is only 1.5 miles out and back. The south route of the trail is not paved and is a 2.6-mile loop into the Beaver Creek Road south of town.
People use the trail for both a relaxed bike ride and a stroll. If you want more of a workout, take advantage of the exercise station along the trail.
Whichever route you take, you are sure to enjoy the scenery. The incredible northern plains surround the trail.
